Debilitated Ketu in Seventh House
Ketu is debilitated in Taurus as well as in Virgo. For the sake of this discussion, we’ll consider both these placements of Ketu. Debilitated Ketu in the seventh house of a horoscope is benefic in some cases whereas it is malefic in some cases. The influences of other benefic and/or malefic planets on Ketu, and the overall theme of horoscope are important criteria when it comes to decide the functional nature of Ketu in a horoscope.
As the number and strengths of benefic and/or malefic planets influencing Ketu in a horoscope increase, Ketu may become more benefic or malefic. Malefic debilitated Rahu is placed in the first house in Pisces, malefic Venus is placed in the sixth house in Leo with retrograde Mercury; malefic retrograde Saturn is placed in the third house in Taurus with Jupiter; and Moon is placed in the twelfth house in Aquarius. Ketu and Sun form Grahan Yoga in the seventh house.
In this case, native’s mother may die before his age of 15 or 10. He may not find a permanent profession throughout his life. He may only find temporary jobs, and he may remain jobless for periods of more than 3 months, many times in his life. He may have an extramarital affair, and his wife may come to know about it. The couple may fight a lot about the issue, but the native may not disengage. If the finer factors and running times are very bad, his wife may kill him through a planned murder, between his age of 35 and 45.
Taking another example, suppose malefic debilitated Ketu is placed in the seventh house of a horoscope in Taurus with Saturn, malefic Mercury and malefic Venus. Malefic debilitated Rahu is placed in the first house in Scorpio, Sun and Moon are placed in the eighth house in Gemini, Jupiter is placed in the twelfth house in Libra, and Mars is placed in the fifth house in Pisces.
In this case, native’s father as well as mother may die before his age of 20 or 15. He may not find a permanent profession throughout his life. He may only find temporary jobs, and he may remain jobless for periods of more than 6 months, many times in his life. He may not get married till his age of 40/45, or throughout his life. Considering another probability, he may get married once, the marriage may fail, and he may not get married again.
