Bad physical shape means that you are too thin or are too fat. Though none of these conditions may devoid you of success, they can pose difficulties for you while reaching success or they can limit the amount of success you achieve.
For instance, this aspect may prove bad when you try to find a life partner of your choice. This is because in the present times; majority of people may be fitness conscious. Hence physical looks matter in this time and age, than they ever mattered before; at least during the beginning stages of such relationships. Since the beginning stage is a difficult one, being out of shape may hurt you more than you may imagine.
Suppose you have a number of positive traits in your personality and you’re a good or very good person. However, you’re out of shape; say you have 30-40 extra pounds on your body. This may block many women from being attracted to you since they may not like to date someone who has this much extra fat. Though you may be good or very good company, that may only come into play if you’re given chances. Hence you may get rejected by many women on the basis of looks alone, though many of them may fall for you if they interact with you.
Hence keep your body in shape. Try not to have much extra fat on your body and try not to be too thin. Middle range is good for most things and it may be good here also. Though building a physique may help you gain extra points for looks; falling in middle range may be sufficient in most cases.
Apart from that, being out of shape comes with a number of other disadvantages; especially if you’re fatter or much fatter than an average person. The extra fat may take a toll on your physical performance in various spheres of life. Apart from that, it may make you vulnerable to a number of health issues. Hence keep your body in shape as that helps a lot.
Being physically fit doesn’t necessarily mean you have to regularly go to a gym, lift heavy weights and start looking like the Hulk; as such routines can be difficult to follow on regular basis. This is because these routines involve costs and resources like gym fee, fuel expenses, special diets, time and other things.
Being physically fit simply means two things: the first one is that you should be in good physical shape. The second one is that you should be able to perform physical tasks. Hence you should engage in such activities which demand a good amount of physical strength or stamina like brisk walk or running, three to four times a week. Through these activities, your body may always be ready to perform. Through such conscious physical activities, you keep telling your subconscious mind that you need strength and stamina to perform. Accordingly, such strength and stamina is reserved for you and sooner than you know, such strength and stamina may become your best friend, as long as you keep performing your physical activities.
I am not against going to gym, lifting weights and building muscle. In fact, I love going to gym and building muscle. However, this book is not for me and it is for you. Hence let’s not discuss what works well for me and let’s discuss what may work well for you. Going to gym may need fair amount of money, resources and time which not everyone may be able to afford. You may not have that much money or you may not afford that much time or extra diet.
It is not good to invite more problems in order to get rid of the one you have at hand. Hence you should take a balanced approach. If gym fits into your lifestyle and financial equation; you may go for it. If not, choose other options.
Building more muscle may have negative effect on some people who may be suffering from excessive aggression. Such people should stay away from building more muscle, as it may worsen their problem. Instead, they should find something else that suits them.
Brisk walking and running not only reduce unwanted fat from your body, but they also improve your physical strength, stamina and health. An added bonus is that walking and running are probably the most affordable exercises. Hence you don’t have to pay anything to do them. The whole world is your gym and you can continue to walk and run without any problems or expenses. Whether it’s a gym, park, road, mountain or sea shore, it doesn’t matter as long as you exercise regularly to keep yourself in shape as well as to build and maintain strength and stamina.
Let’s look at a helpful tip. When you start engaging in physical exercises, there will always be various physical activities which can give you the same or similar results. Such activities may include walking, brisk walking, jogging, running, cycling, skipping, swimming, aerobics and many other activities.
Try them one by one and you may find out that you are naturally good at some of them, just all right at some, and bad at some of them. Though you may think that you should improve yourself first in activities where you don’t do well, this is exactly what you should not do. Instead, you should follow those activities more and more that you find most comfortable and convenient; with increased levels of resistance. This is because being comfortable while doing some specific physical activities means that you are naturally gifted there. It means you’ve done them a lot in your past lives.
You love the Sun for being bright and you love the Moon for being cool. Likewise, you may love various types of actors, singers, athletes, players and performers for what they are and you may not imagine changing them. It means you may not want your favourite player to quit sports and start acting. Likewise, you may not want your favourite actor to quit acting and start playing. This is because you know they’re doing what they are best at doing.
Hence it’s not a good idea to spend more and more time with cycling if you don’t feel comfortable with it at all. While cycling, your mind may always be split in two; with one part telling you not to do it and the other part forcing you to take up this challenge. Your body may also support the part which says don’t do it, since you may not cope very well with this exercise on physical level. Hence don’t do it and find some other exercise.
Suppose, you feel very comfortable with running and you can sense that if you continue this activity, you can perform well or very well in a short period of time. Hence engage in it more and more, because you may be at your best, you may be able to burn more calories, increase strength and stamina. Apart from that, you love running and nothing can match a feeling of love or comfort.
Therefore, don’t look pathetic and miserable while cycling where you get below average results. Instead, do more and more running where you dominate like a champion. There is a champion or winner within most of us. However, some of us are able to bring out that champion and many of us are not able to do so. This is because many of us try to engage in activities where we don’t perform well so that we may improve ourselves.
At the same time, we may not engage more and more in the activities where we are naturally gifted. The champions know the best they have and they bring it out whereas many others may not realize the best they have. Hence they may keep trying many other things and in some cases, they may try to succeed in the spheres where they may be the worst.
Hence stop doing things that you are not comfortable with and start doing things that you are most comfortable with; and you may start seeing amazing results. Whether it is physical exercise, profession, relationships or anything else; there are always choices available. Being successful in any one of them is almost equally good in most cases. Success is not about what you do; it is about how you do it.
Hence find the activities that you are most comfortable with and engage in them more and more by increasing the level of resistance. By doing so, you may start seeing amazing results as well as wonderful levels of physical fitness. Learn to be a champion, identify your strengths and start using them to your advantage.
