The concept of a benefic planet turning malefic due to influences of malefic planets has been explained in the book ‘Match Making and Manglik Dosh (Revised Edition)’.
When benefic in nature, retrograde Jupiter in the eighth house of a horoscope in Aries can bless the native with good results related to marriage, husband, wife, mother, education, wealth, properties, vehicles, health, lifespan, creativity, spiritual growth, profession, finances, reputation, authority, recognition, fame and several good results, depending on his/her overall horoscope and running times.

Taking an example. Kindly read book for detailed example.
Such retrograde Jupiter can bless the native with authority in government as a police officer, army, air force, naval, revenue, administrative, foreign services officer, judge, doctor, scientist, engineer, politician or some other type of professional. Taking an example, suppose benefic retrograde Jupiter is placed in the eighth house of a horoscope in Aries. Benefic exalted Mercury is placed in the first house in Virgo with Sun, Mars is placed in the second house in Libra, benefic Rahu is placed in the fifth house in Capricorn, and Saturn is placed in the eleventh house in Cancer with Ketu. Benefic exalted Mercury forms Bhadra Yoga in the first house. In this case, the native may achieve authority through politics. He may win more than one public election, and he may become a member of parliament of his country, more than once.
If benefic exalted Moon is placed in the ninth house in Taurus, and benefic debilitated Venus is placed in the first house in Virgo with Mercury and Sun, the equation may become better. Mercury may cancel the debilitation status of Venus, and these two planets may form Neechbhang Rajyoga in the first house. In this case, the native may witness very good amount of success, recognition, fame and authority through politics. If the finer factors and running times are supportive, he may become chief minister of a state or a minister in national government, more than once in his life.
On the other hand, malefic retrograde Jupiter in the eighth house of a horoscope in Aries can trouble the native with problems related to marriage, husband, wife, mother, education, wealth, properties, vehicles, health, lifespan, profession, finances, reputation, authority, recognition and several other problems, depending on his/her overall horoscope and running times.
Jupiter rules the fourth and seventh house, and it is placed in the eighth house. If such retrograde Jupiter is influenced by malefic planets, and/or an overall malefic horoscope, the native may witness various types of problems related to or through his/her lifespan, marriage, husband, wife and/or mother. Considering marriage, the native may witness delay/disturbances in marriage, and/or one or more failed marriages. He may have serious differences of opinion with his wife, she may suffer from a long-lasting illness, she may be an alcoholic and/or a drug addict, she may be a criminal, she may not be loyal to him, she may have extramarital affair/affairs, and/or she may die within 10 or 5 years of marriage. Considering lifespan, the native may witness reduction in lifespan due to several reasons. For example, he may die in an accident, through a natural disaster, due to a fatal disease, due to a fatal viral infection like COVID, due to drug addiction, he may commit suicide, or someone may kill him.
Taking an example, suppose retrograde Jupiter is placed in the eighth house of a horoscope in Aries with malefic Ketu. Guru Chandal Yoga is formed in the eighth house. Malefic Rahu is placed in the second house in Libra, debilitated Mercury is placed in the seventh house in Pisces with malefic Sun, Venus is placed in the sixth house in Aquarius, and Moon is placed in the twelfth house in Leo. In this case, the native may lose his mother to death, before his age of 30 or 25. His first marriage may fail, and he may settle in his second marriage.
If retrograde Saturn is placed in the sixth house in Aquarius with Venus, and malefic Mars is placed in the eighth house in Aries with Jupiter and Ketu, the equation may become more troublesome. In this case, native’s mother may die before his age of 15 or 10. He may witness 1 or 2 failed marriages. He may die before his age of 45 or 40. He may get killed in a random act of violence, along with his wife. For example, they may both get killed in riots.
