Retrograde Saturn in 1st House in Leo
When retrograde Saturn is placed in the first house of a horoscope in Leo, Leo rises in the ascendant. Saturn rules the sixth and seventh house. In general, it is partly benefic and partly malefic here, though the malefic part is higher, in most cases. Retrograde Saturn in the first house of horoscope in Leo is malefic in many cases, though it may turn benefic in some cases. It may happen when such Saturn is influenced by one or more benefic planets, and/or an overall benefic horoscope. Taking an example, suppose malefic retrograde Saturn is placed in the first house of a horoscope in Leo. Benefic Sun and Mars are placed in the seventh house in Aquarius, exalted Venus is placed in the eighth house in Pisces with malefic exalted Ketu, malefic exalted Rahu is placed in the second house in Virgo, and retrograde debilitated Jupiter is placed in the sixth house in Capricorn with Mercury. In this case, the native may not find a permanent profession till his age of 35/40, though he may earn well at times. He may only find temporary jobs, and he may remain jobless for periods of more than 3 months, many times in his life. He may witness a failed marriage, and he may die before the age of 60 or 55.
If malefic Moon is placed in the first house in Leo with Saturn, the equation may become more troublesome. In this case, the native may witness 1 or 2 failed marriages. He may not find a permanent profession throughout his life, and he may remain jobless for periods of more than 6 months, many times in his life. He may die before the age of 45/40, because of a fatal viral infection like COVID or HIV AIDS.
